Overview

Honeyland is an amazing resource management strategy game. The objective is to grow your colony of Bees as they travel through many Universes to find a place to call home. Learn more about the history of Honeyland and get clues about the Queen's plans by reading The Story of Honeyland.

Earth - Universe 1

While visiting Earth you will be able to send your Bees on missions to Harvest Honey (HXD), Hunt for Honeypots filled with shards, complete Quests, and go head-to-head with other players by Raiding their Hives. 

You will be provided with a Training Queen and a set of Training Bees to get you started. You can purchase, Breed, and Hatch additional Bees and Queens to grow your swarm.

Be sure to optimize their effectiveness by learning about mission boosts and what to look for when choosing your active Queen.

Cocarro - Universe 2

Siege, Explore, and Craft to grow your Cocarro swarm and strengthen your Bees. Cocarro has shards, raw materials, and items you can't find elsewhere including Cocarro Crystals!

You can purchase, Breed, and Hatch Cocarro Bees to build your swarm and help you climb the Siege and Explore leaderboards.

Earning Shards

Your Bees will be able to earn Honey (HXD), items, and shards:

Follow the Welcome Pass - The Queen has laid out a series of tasks for new players and offers fantastic rewards for completing those tasks!

Harvest - Harvesting is how you earn Honey (HXD). Honey is used throughout the Honeyverse to play games, buy assets, join events, and much more!

Hunt - Hunting is how you collect Honeypots filled with shards. Shards can be redeemed for all sorts of helpful and valuable items for you to use in the game allowing you to upgrade and hatch new Bees, receive mission boosts, and more!

RaidPvP - Player vs. Player (PvP) contests allow you to earn Honey when you defeat other players. You can also earn Honey by successfully protecting your hive from being raided by other players.

Quest - Each universe has unique Non-Playable Characters (NPCs) who have laid out Quests for you to follow. Explore the history of Honeyland while battling NPCs. Successful Quests will earn you shards!

Lucky Wheel - Spin the wheel and collect your Daily Gift(s)! Your VIP level determines how many times you can spin the wheel each day. You will start out with one spin; as you progress in the game, you can build up to having four spins a day! Each spin will add shards to your inventory.

Make Friends - Add Friends to send and receive Zzubs!

Play games in the Game Mall - The Game Mall includes a variety of games giving you the opportunity to earn Shards while testing your skills, competing in tournaments, and going head-to-head against other players.

Additional ways to earn shards:

Raffles - There are daily raffles inside Honeyland where you have a chance to win shards.

Land Ownership - One of the benefits of owning Land in Universe 1 is weekly shard airdrops.

Referrals - There are monthly shard rewards for players who refer others to Honeyland plus bonus shards when referrals reach specific game milestones.

Connect your Social Media accounts - Earn shards by connecting your X/Twitter and Discord accounts to Honeyland.

Convert Training Bees - You can convert Training Bees to shards

Redeem codes - We issue codes during livestreams and other special events

Additionally, you can purchase items (which are created when players redeem shards) using the Item Marketplace.

Welcome Pass

New players will follow the Welcome Pass as they learn about Honeyland. They will have the opportunity to receive training from their Hive Helper as they complete the Welcome Pass. They can also skip the trainings and learn on their own. NOTE: Completing the Welcome Pass comes with great rewards!

Friends

Visit your Hive to start adding friends. Send and receive gifts each day to earn Zzubs that can be used to purchase additional spins of the Lucky Wheel, to decorate your hive, and to play games in the Game Mall.

Be rewarded for being friendly!

Adding friends is easy!

  • Tap the friends icon in upper right corner of the game (looks like a person)

  • Tap the Add button

  • Search or scroll to find players you want to add as a friend

  • Tap Add next to each person you want to become friends with

While you are on the friends screen, be sure to check the Requests tab to see if you have any friend requests to respond to.

REMINDER: Some players may have reached their maximum number of friends and won't be able to accept your friend request

Be sure to send/receive zzubs daily.

Send/receive resets at 00:00 UTC each day.

Sound, music, vibration effects

There may be times when you would rather play Honeyland in silent mode. That's easy to do!

NOTE: Additional settings can be adjusted to help improve game performance especially on older devices.  See below for options.

Performance settings

We have added a number of display options on the Settings page to help improve performance especially for players using older devices.

To visit the Settings page:

  • Tap the main menu icon in the upper right corner (hamburger menu)

  • Tap the gear icon on the left side of the slide out menu

  • Once on the Settings page, tap the Performance button

NOTE: The NPC animation toggle in settings only disables their animation in their own pop-up. The universe animations will still be active.

2FA - Two Factor Authentication - Google Authenticator App

Please consider adding Two Factor Authentication to your HiveMind account. 2FA is an extra layer of security for your account. When activated, you will be prompted to enter a code from your authenticator app before performing certain game activities such as deactivating (unstaking) Bees or withdrawing HXD from your account. This helps ensure that it’s actually YOU making the request.  It's worth the extra steps to protect your Bees and HXD!

Activating 2FA in game

We’ve added the ability to enable/disable 2FA inside the game via the settings screen. Access the settings screen by tapping on the gear icon on the far left side of the main menu.

If you prefer to use HiveMind, Enable/Disable button is just below the right side of your HiveMind banner

Click the Enable 2FA button on the right side

Follow the instructions

After 2FA is installed, you will need to input the 2FA code each time you unstake a Honeyland asset.

 Authenticator App

It's ESSENTIAL that you connect your Authenticator app to a Google account so that if you happen to lose your phone, you will still be able to access your assets.

If the cloud icon is grey (shown in the screenshot below), your authenticator app is NOT connected to your Google account. The cloud icon will be GREEN when you are connected.

Free to play (FTP)

Honeyland is free to play (FTP) as long as you like. When you download the Honeyland app, you will receive a starter hive that includes one Training Queen and a set of Training Bees.

Play to own

Play-to-own means that the Honey (HXD), Honeyland Assets, and Honeyland Collectibles you earn through missions and gameplay belong to you. You can continue to use them in the game or they can be sold or traded to other players. 

Using the in-game Asset Marketplace and the in-game Item Marketplace.

Badges

Badges are a fun way to celebrate your progress in Honeyland

Badges are given as rewards for reaching game milestones

To view your inventory of Badges and choose which one(s) you want to display:

Tap on your avatar in the upper left corner of the game

Tap Badges in the middle area of the screen

Tap the Badge(s) you want to use

Confirm your choice and your Badges will be updated

Visit the leaderboard to see how Badges are see by other players

Referrals

To access your invite option to refer a friend:

  • Open game
  • Tap Bonus in the lower left corner
  • Tap Referrals - your referral code will show in the upper right corner of the screen

If you want a referral link:

  • Tap Invite
  • This will display your invite options including your referral link 

When your friend enters the game for the first time they will be prompted to enter the referral code from your invite.

Be sure to become in-game friends as well. Learn how to connect inside the game here.

Track the progress of your referrals on the same screen where you accessed your referral options.

To play using your desktop computer, visit play.honey.land.

To play using your mobile device, visit your App store, Google Play or Apple 

Google Sign-in

Here are the steps to log in using Google sign-in:

  • Open the Honeyland app on your device
  • Choose "Sign in with Google"
  • Follow the prompts provided by Google
  • You will be brought back to the game and you can start playing!

Phantom Wallet

Currently Phantom is not optimized for Honeyland. We suggest using Solflare instead. Corey, our CEO, made this video to show you how to switch. If you wish to continue with Phantom, there are further details below the video.

Moving your Honeyland Wallet from Phantom to Solflare

Here's a step-by-step tutorial on how to log in to your Phantom Wallet in-game:

Step 1: From the log in screen, tap the Phantom icon. This will open the Phantom app.

Step 2: Tap on the “Connect“ button

Step 3: Tap on the “Login” button

Step 4: Tap on approve to pay a small network fee for the connection - the SOL to cover this fee has already been added to your wallet

Step 5: Voila! You're all set up!

Connect your Social Media accounts

From your hive, tap the Bonus icon, then tap Social to connect your X/Twitter and Discord accounts to receive free shards.
