There are two main types of Bees in the Honeyverse: Queen Bees and male Bees. Queen Bees lead your Hive by making your missions more effective and efficient. Male Bees are sent on missions to bring back Honey and Honeypots (filled with shards) which allow you to progress in the game.

Bees can be earned through game play and by purchasing them from other players from the in-game Marketplace.

 Queen Bee

The Queen Bee is necessary for Breeding.  If you plan to Breed your Queen, her level is very important as the level of a Queen tells you how many upgrade slots she will pass to her offspring. Queens start at level 10 and can be upgraded to level 20.  It's very common for players to upgrade their Queen to level 20 before starting to Breed her.  Learn more about upgrading here

You receive significant boosts when your Queen's mood matches the mood of the Bees you send on missions. Most players will acquire Bees that match their strongest Queen's mood to take advantage of these boosts for their Hunting and Harvesting missions.

If your Bee's like matches your Queen's like, it offers a PvP mission boost.

Queen Bees are also necessary in order to explore new universes. Players must have a Queen Bee from the universe they wish to explore in order to play and earn in that universe. Genesis Queen Bees will be able to explore all 8 universes, regardless of which universe they are from.

Male Bee

Each player will have a colony of male Bees that go out on Harvesting missions to bring back Honey and Hunting missions to bring back Honeypots (filled with shards) which allow you to progress in the game. They can also participate in Player vs. Player (PvP), Quests, and other activities in Honeyland. Players are encouraged to grow and upgrade their colony of Bees over time to perform more missions and earn more game rewards.
